Hi all... does anybody have a problem with the UI staying DIM after the ScreenSaver (DIM! :-) ) has kicked-in, even if the UI is correctly responds to all remote commands?

Starting a movie or anything else doesn't work and have to force reload of the Skin to have it bright again!

As far as I can tell, this doesn't happen with other skins... Tested on Confluence and AH2.

Sorry, I forgot that if you've modified the default you need to add the window target manually. Default setup will have the correct target, but re-adding as a new item needs target added manually.

You can find your saved config in:
"userdata/addon_data/script.skinvariables/nodes/skin.arctic.fuse{your.skin.username}/skinvariables-shortcut-homemenu.json"
(replace homemenu with 1101menu etc. if a hub).

Then find the submenulist entry for the category. It'll have something like this in it:

        "submenulist_icon": "DefaultAddonPVRClient.png",

        "submenulist_target": ""

All you need to do is change submenulist_target to be "tvguide" (or can also be "tvchannels" if you prefer).

Save file, restart Kodi, go into widgets config then back out to force it to rebuild with the new target, then it should work.

Hi @jurialmunkey I haven't used kodi in a while. I want to queue up some episodes to watch back-to-back I can't find the current playlist. Can you help. It's not where it used to be on the options side menu thanks

Hi... Thanks for confirming I'm not alone...

Haven't had a chance to test on Kodi 21, as Omega hasn't been released on OSMC, yet...
I have Kodi 21 on my Philips Android TV, where it got installed automagically, but as long as AH2 works there, I'm keeping it that way and don't need to install Arctic Fuse...

At least until I feel at ease with it, and realease for general family use! ;-)

I imagine its been brought up. But any option of poster wall like on previous skins where it looks like horizontal scroll but when you go down it opens the wall?

Browsing through 1000+ films one by one sideways is challenging.

I also noticed that the letter selector starts at "L"? Mine is something like L-R, S-V, W-Z, A-F, G-K (Not that exactly but you get the point.)

This is a beautiful skin, but is proving really hard for me to setup compared to AH2.
How do I get rid of items on the side menu? I don't use music or PVR and for the life of me can't figure out how to get rid of them?
Not as important, but would really like to get rid of spotlight as well (the binocular icon).

To get rid of items in the side menu.... press back for long, this will bring up the options menu > In the options menu, navigate to settings > In settings, go into skin settings > at the top you'll see "Menus"... go into that section > go to "customise widgets"... this will bring up the widgets customization page. At the side, you'll see all the side menu items, navigate there then click on any one... From here you can highlight the sidemenu items you don't need, then move right to the list of editing options, at the bottom you'll see a trashbin icon with "delete"... click that to delete it....

you can also change the shortcut, which will then change the item as a whole... you can change the icon, rename it e.t.c.


To switch off spotlight... go back into skin settings > go to the "interface" section > Go to "Spotlight" then click on it... you'll see several spotlight style options... click on "Disabled".

wow!!! thank you so much!! the first part worked perfectly..... I was looking for that for hours!
Regarding the second part, I already did disable it, but seems like the binoculars are still there - maybe I'm missing the point of what "Disable Spotlight" does exactly..
