Hi!
Finaly Ive decided to go for a new htpc build to replace my
asrock ion 330ht.
What I want is a supersilent and quick htpc who handles the heavyest skins, and handles 3d playback (to be futureproof). All my media is stored on a NAS, so I only need the ssd to be a system disc. I havent decided if Il go with windows or xbmc live, I will give xbmc live a try and if I manage to set up everything as I want, Il go for LIVE. If not, Il go for windows
I allready own a Harmony One who is going to be used as remote controll, but I need adwice about a good IR-reciever.
Allso I need suggestions of good htpc cases. Ive been looking at the cheap ace polly case, but Im open to take a look at any other cases
After advices from people on this forum and other forums, I came up with this shopinglist. Maybe its a bit overkill, but I think when Im first going to build this machine, Il spend some xtra money to make sure I will be satisfied. Please let me know what you think of this before I click on the "BUY" button
Many thanks!!
UPDATE: This is what I ended up with

Cpu: Intel® Pentium® Processor G620 Socket-LGA1155, Dual Core, 2.6Ghz, 3MB, 65W, Boxed
Ram: Kingston DDR3 HyperX 1333MHz 2GB CL7-7-7-20, 240pin
Gpu: ASUS GeForce GT 430 1GB Direct CU Silent, PCI-Express 2.0, DDR3, DVI, native-HDMI, Graphics
Psu: be quiet! SFX Power 350W PSU/BN134

IR reciever: HP ir reciever (a cheap one ordered from ebay)
For now Im running openelec on the machine and Its allmost working 100%, its only missing the ability to power on with my harmony one. My plan to fix this is to order the Antec VERIS Basic Infrared receiver and use Windows7 as os.
