Full Version: anyway to disable fanart in tv-guide

as the title says is there any way to disable fan-art background in tv-guide menu ?
as it makes icons to be a bit unreadable !
i looked every where but have not seen any thing to config the tv-guide !
currently not, but it will be possible in the near future :-)

that would be so good ! even if we can change it from xml or config files !!!!
Well, T! allows you to set custom backgrounds for each home menu option. Just set a black image behind it. Sometimes simple solutions are the best.

well, mate I know that ! and thats why i'm asking !
but i can not find anywhere to change the background for tv guide !
can you check and let me know where is that menu that i can change the tvguide background ?

I will confirm that you are not blind, you can't turn it off or change to black.

Hopefully, ronie's near future is soon
open the TV Show Next Aired addon settings, you will find this option there:
'Enable background fanart'

turn it off if you don't want to see fanart in the tv guide.
the default background will be shown instead

if you want a black background, you also need to replace the default one in:
Settings > Skin Settings > Backgrounds > TV

Oh, Eden is 11 right, darn, unfortunately, it crashed on my setup so i went back to dharma
