Just came across this. Thought it might interest a few people.

Anyone know if there's a UK alternative? It as simple as this to get iplayer/4OD etc etc to work from the USA by just using a UK DNS setting like this? I didn't think it worked as simple as that? (I'm currently using a ddwrt routing through a UK VPN, is that complete overkill??) My VPN speed is REALLY slow and this would make me happy if it was the case!
you can try the "unblock-us" dns servers, they work for US, UK and other websites from european countries
and its pretty good, I can watch the BBC iPlayer, Hulu, VEVO within XBMC.
although the bbc live tv works on the browser, it doesn't work inside xbmc.

btw: it's paid, but you can try it free for 7 days
I tried it before in unblock-us but they didn't work with 4OD/Demand5/ITV Player, which I need. Does anyone know if they work now?
