Hi guys
I have been using XMBC on my old skool original XBOX for the last three years but I have just built myself a HTPC running Win7 Pro 64-bit and XBMC.
I have a Logitech Harmony 300 that I use on my old XBOX but I would like to use it on my HTPC but I need an IR receiver.
Will any receiver do? I saw this one (www.ebay.com.au/itm/Mini-USB-IrDA-Infrared-IR-Wireless-Dongle-Adapter-PC-/320705545460?pt=AU_CablesConnectors&hash=item4aab8a44f4) on eBay but I'm unsure if it will be ok nor am I sure if it will receive IR or is it just a transmitter? If its not suitable, can anyone recommend me one that will be ok?
Also, does anyone know if I can configure the Harmony 300 to be able to launch XBMC in Windows 7? I want my wife to be able to just turn on the HTPC and launch it without the keyboard and just use the remote instead.
Would appreciate anyone's help.
Thanks.
