Hi folks,
No complaint, but chosing the right audio output is pretty complex in xbmc. It would help alot if there is an option "play sample" in the System Settings --> Audio Output menu. A short beep would help to find out if you have chosen the right audio device, for example. A left beep could help to check if you haven't swapped the speakers. Some DTS sound could help to check if DTS is supported by the hardware or software at all.
Just a suggestion, of course. Keep on the good work.
BTW, I really like the new skin of the current HEAD version.
