Hi,

I'm running XBMC 11 on Mac OS X, and the youtube plugin does not play videos. All i get is "One or more videos failed to play. Please check the log file."
The same youtube clips play fine on XBMC 11 on linux on my PC, and any other videos that I try to play on the mac xbmc work just fine.

now I have two questions:
What is wrong?
Where is the log file on a mac?


any hints for me?

thanks, that helped. turns out that the long, weird-looking cache urls for youtube videos were inaccessible for XBMC unless i use my squid proxy 0.o

...now the youtube plugin refuses to login to youtube...

Same for me but I don't think this is an OSX issue. I don't know who did the plugin but I would post (or read up) in this forum to see if you can figure it out.

edit: this worked for me, I can now logon. I only uninstalled the old plugin and installed the new one from the link in the post.
