Hey Lunatixz,

Everything is working great now with SMB/NFS. Thanks again for your swift fix!

Thanks

I do not see a difference with ptvl debugging enabled:

Okay, Think I fixed it... I will update master git tonight...

I've found one thread (from last March) which says PTVL doesn't work well with Trakt and that Trakt should be disabled. But I've never installed Trakt and cannot find that string in the PTVL Program Files (x86) directory or find any options for it in PTVL setups or SBMC setups.

any help please?

You are confusing trakt with follw.it.
I don't believe anywhere it's been mentioned trakt doesn't work with PTVL...

Don't matter anyway the interference from a plugin wouldn't cause a script error.
Send me a log...

Is it possible to set rules with the YoutubeTV channel type. I am unable to select the Rules button with YoutubeTV

Code:
In app channel configuration doesn't fully support new channel types. For now I suggested manual configuration using examples found above.

Rules work but you need to manual configure, read forum for help. This question has been asked and answered already Smile

Just for the record, I've been able to interleave YouTube channels using the in app manager. I had to use the mouse to click the advanced channel rules button, but other than that it was business as usual.
@Daavid cool I started adding in app support for my additions but never finished it... Glad to hear most of it works.
Is there a way to pre-load strms from pneumatic, XBMCtorrent, or netflix (netflix might not work too well) so it cuts back on buffering/loading when a show or movie ends?
I love this program, but it seems to be incompatible with NetfliXBMC streams, primarily because that add-on plays the video within the Chrome browser, which is interpreted by PseudoTV Live as an error. Is there a way to simply exclude videos from the NetfliXBMC source folders from being included in the PseudoTV Live library?

If you're using a custom playlist, add a rule to exclude the path Netflix strms are in.

Else, create a channel rule to exclude anything with the name netflix. Make sure to add either a suffix or prefix to your titles.

There is no such thing as pre buffering, or multi video playing in xbmc. So no... Not possible.
Just stopping by to say thanks for the hard work, Lunatixz. I use PseudoTV Live essentially 3/4 of the time I'm using XBMC.

Got a simple question: Will the EPG see any performance increases/decreases with the upcoming release of XBMC? I remember there were issues rendering the EPG moving to Frodo which slowed it down a bit and am wondering if we'll see any of those issues this time around.
I posted before but didnt get any feedback, is it possible for pseudotv live just to give you the yes/no option if you want to exit when stop is pressed instead of completely exiting? For people who dont use the app regularly, its so easy to forget that you shouldnt press stop as they are so used to pressing stop outside of pseudotv,. Anyways it would be great if something could be done about this.

PTVL has always featured a yes or no before exiting.
pressing stop on mce remotes (rc6) completely exits pseudotv for me (have 3 xbmc pc's with openelec and this happens with all)

log here from moment stop was pressed

pressing back gives the exit option but not stop

Hmm this isn't normal behaviour... Stop and back should both bring up exit dialog. Does this happen for all channel types? Livetv, internettv, YouTube, local.
at the moment i'm just using local media (from samba share) but am pretty sure i had the same issue when trying the pvr and youtube before

How is your MCE key mapped? Using remote.XML? Keyboard.XML?
log when pressing back instead

looks to be keyboard.xml looking at the userdata folder

(2013-07-14, 07:16)Lunatixz Wrote: [ -> ]Dynamic Art / EPG Colors
Dynamic artwork, works while changing the highlighted (in focus) title in the EPG.
All PTVL Artwork using conventional file naming.

Dynamic artwork for regular channel types (0-7) will look for whatever artwork type (ie, poster, fanart, banner, landscape, logo, clearart) is set in the skin (this adds flexibility for skinners).
For example "landscape" is selected for the default skin, PTVL will look in your media folder for the selected titles landscape image and will search up to two parent directories; then display the image.

Dynamic artwork for LiveTV will use the tvdb/imdb id scraped earlier after enabling the API's (a force reset may be require). PTVL will look in "userdata/script.pseudotv.live/cache/artwork" for a matching image, if one is not found PTVL will download and save one; The artwork folder will fill with new images till a channel rebuild is called (either manually or automatically) which will clear the artwork cache...

Artwork Download

Direct Download - PseudoTV Live will use the tvdb/tmdb and fanart.tv api's to directly download the missing image and save it to the set options location..

Art.downloader.script - This feature will call the artwork downloader script and download the file. It is required that you enable "local" artwork in its settings.

First of all, thanks for this great update. I'm a user of the classic PTV and now I have decided to jump to this Live edition which is a really nice 'update' of the classic one!

Everything is running smoothly, but I can't see any artwork related to any movie/tv show during the display of the EPG or info menu (pressing "I" during the playback). I changed in the settings menu to display posters without success and then into fanart with the same results. This is really strange because I have both artworks displaying correctly in my XBMC library...

Any help on this please? Do I have to download again the art to other folder? Thank you in advance for your comments Smile

Best wishes from Spain!
