When i enable Dynamic Artwork i get
File "C:\Users\Appo\AppData\Roaming\XBMC\addons\script.pseudotv.live-master\resources\lib\Overlay.py", line 834, in setShowInfo
self.LiveTVArtDownloader(imdbid, tvdbid, type, type1, type1EXT, type2, type2EXT)
UnboundLocalError: local variable 'type' referenced before assignment
So it looks like i am not able to have Dynamic Artwork for my live channels.
Any Idea?
did u force channel reset, after enabling?
i found the problem.
i changed str(subtitle) to uni(subtitle) and it works now.
i have two more problems.
when i start (Activate/Update) Donor features i get the message that not all features are installed
'try again later...'
the other problem is that not all tvshows from the xmltv files are exactly named like they are on the tvdb and tmdb sites
that means that pseudotv is not able to find em. Especially here in Germany the tv channels are adding German names to the Original Show Title.
What about having an alias file where we have the ability
to make a name conversion.
The other solution could be that the fanart files named in the artwork folder are named like the xmltv entry "ncis-landscape.jpg".
Like a fallback if nothing was found.
Sorry I can't offer you support if you are changing code.
I would rather correct problems on my build, not have user edit code from one user to the next.

Thanks, the location of the option had me thinking it was part of pvr backend only.
Sorry about calling you out, but lately I have posted a few times(including here) with no response. Although, I donated and sent you a pm a couple days ago and got no response(could still be processing though).

Time is limited, I try and answer all... but can't. I'd rather not reply to a question that has been answered already, in favor of a question to a users error.
Things shouldn't be taken personally, If I don't reply and you can't find the answer using search; ask again later

I just start to trying out the PseudoTV Live to mimic channel surfing. I primarily want to use PseudoTV Live to surf InternetTV feed. I am currently using Livestreams, coupling with the source file, in xml, to select internetTV feed to watch. When I installed PseudoTV Live, I thought it would autotune to the installed Livestream to pull in the channels. Apparently, it didn't happen. I read a little to learn that I can create a setting2.xml to contain the channels list. Is there an efficient way to translate all the TV channels for Livestream to TV channels to PseudoTV Live. Is there a channel manager which I can use to re-generate the channel list? Thank you very much.
::Update::
I'm adding more query options to the YouTube chtype.
Currently adding:
- Search terms (videos w/ safesearch)
User Favorites
Is there a youtube feature I'm missing?
Thanks luna for all the hard work, my setup is turning out awesome thanks to you.
How about Youtubes front page: Recommended/Popular/Movies/music/sports/etc..- just throwing out ideas
Anyways, if I'm looking for the latest features under the master git changelog on page 1:
BringthePopcorn Autotune and Chtype. All skins include VideoWindow and "ConCast" skin added
Is this under the Master, or main repo? If under master, when are these moved to the main repo?

I didn't push the change yet (didn't sync my local copy with git yet).
I'll push tomorrow, I was trying to finish up direct xmltv info from pvr backend support...
YouTube Playlist help, I've tried everything I can think of before posting as I know this thread is getting long but I just can't figure this out.
I'm trying to add a YouTube Playlist with the config below. I've tried every way I thought might work, please advise.
First attempt from following instructions.
<setting id="Channel_997_type" value="10" />
<setting id="Channel_997_1" value="PLHOMQ6tK7Yufm1UX5wwPCSiQ8YJL_uhD0" />
<setting id="Channel_997_2" value="2" />
<setting id="Channel_997_3" value="50" />
<setting id="Channel_997_rulecount" value="1" />
<setting id="Channel_997_rule_1_id" value="2" />
<setting id="Channel_997_rule_1_opt_1" value="Test Playlist" />
<setting id="Channel_997_time" value="241" />
Read post 2, there is a example setup. You're missing switch 4...
Luna thank you for catching that, I apologize for my oversight there. I've added switch 4 and left it to default. I've tried another test playlist as well. Still not creating the channel, what else am I missing?
<setting id="Channel_998_type" value="10" />
<setting id="Channel_998_1" value="PLsmAwzXwpcPa2_FBzTG1-gl1hnVoEIO9t&feature" />
<setting id="Channel_998_2" value="2" />
<setting id="Channel_998_3" value="50" />
<setting id="Channel_998_4" value="0" />
<setting id="Channel_998_rulecount" value="1" />
<setting id="Channel_998_rule_1_id" value="2" />
<setting id="Channel_998_rule_1_opt_1" value="Aerial Wedding" />
<setting id="Channel_998_time" value="241" />

Make sure the playlist is public on YouTube... Also double check playlist name while u r there. Shouldn't be a "="
Also please do not flood forum with log snippets, post a link to full log...

Update and Luna please disregard my last question. This was due to coping the URL UID playlist and not the UID of the "share this link" on my playlist page.
Thanks for all that you do Luna!!

I was looking for those options too, I'm more interested in the direct pvr epg though, none of my channels matched the xml file.
