That has nothing to do with PseudoTV! Sounds like you either have bandwidth issues or performance issues.
Remember if you are free USTVnow user to lower the bitrate to the lowest setting.

What i meant was i deleted PSTVL, the quality on the plugin and PSTVL was the same, it gets very pixelated

If you have even the slightest bit of insight on how PTVL works you would know that its a playlist creator! with a gui!! Nothing more! Once the play command is sent to XBMC, it's XBMC's player that is playing the content... any lag or issues would be bandwidth or performance issues... now of course the gui can slow things down hence why I mentioned performance issues....
You state you have knowledge on hardware, well that's keen! (considering I design hardware for a living... we won't battle wits).

If you don't want to hear my answer so be it, but that's my answer... there is no magic code that will solve the problem... it couldn't be more straight forward! have you tried turning off all settings and slimming down how much is running on your system? First thing I would turn off if I was experiencing lag would be "background updating" or "dynamic artwork"... I would also limit the services running on XBMC and tweak my bgloadthreading setting...

I don't work for ustvnow... but if you are a free user you get the lowest resolution...
Also, I know you cleared this up... i'm just reiterating... all this plugin does is create playlists... if PTVL is playing USTVnow... your playing the same exact link that would be playing if you entered the plugin and manually clicked play!!
same exact xbmc player, same exact internal link! it's not magic... there shouldn't be a difference in quality! if you experience performance issues... there are only two factors bandwidth/system performance!
all of which can be tweaked to optimize your experience!! all XBMC users should already have their HTPC tweaked and tuned for best performance!! and all users should know their systems capability's!! even the best of systems can be bottle necked!

My jets are totally cooled, your the one that seems to pop a vien just from simple questions. I asked numerous questions that were not even answered in the slightest.
I'm doing my best to give you as much information as possible so you can help me troubleshoot what is a plugin issue. Please stop shouting at people. If you don't want to help that is fine. I'll take my money elsewhere
also one other thing, if you are adament this is user/bandwidth/system any other nonsense answer error, tell me this. how is it when i create a manual UStvnow channel list, it works fine thru PSTVL. right now i did this, it runs smooth as a babies bottom.

Freezing image doesn't usually indicate a problem with PTVL, But an issue with the source, or system. When you experience lag or freezing while playging in PTVL its because of performance issues!!
Now if you experienced a black screen, or gui stopped working, then you know its related to my code... why? because my code only queues something up to play and creates gui for that data... it doesn't handle playing media!
BTW it was mentioned here before!! that USTVnow is having issues with channel "ABC" so you can try removing that channel, if you feel that's the issue!

there are obvious differences, hence why i still believe it is an issue with autotuning. hence why i continue to post here. i can sit here and manually do this and add it and get it working, but thats not what this is about. i want the features to work, so everyone can have it working also.
also, you are not on a paid subscription for ustvnow? so how do you know its not just an issue with me being a paid subscriber? it seems im the only one on here that i can see that is paying for USTVNOW so surely my input can help you can it not?

Freezing image doesn't usually indicate a problem with PTVL, But an issue with the source, or system. When you experience lag or freezing while playging in PTVL its because of performance issues!!
Now if you experienced a black screen, or gui stopped working, then you know its related to my code... why? because my code only queues something up to play and creates gui for that data... it doesn't handle playing media!
well posting with !!! every sentence doesn't help. lets try and start over. i have done everything you said in regards to it being an issue with performance ALREADY before i posted, hence why i know its not a performance issue. also as stated above it works fine RIGHT NOW with MANUAL code.

there are obvious differences, hence why i still believe it is an issue with autotuning. hence why i continue to post here. i can sit here and manually do this and add it and get it working, but thats not what this is about. i want the features to work, so everyone can have it working also.
also, you are not on a paid subscription for ustvnow? so how do you know its not just an issue with me being a paid subscriber? it seems im the only one on here that i can see that is paying for USTVNOW so surely my input can help you can it not?
now what i can see, plain as day is that everything is the same between those 2 sets of code except for one thing, the time value. perhaps this is the problem? oh wait it couldn't be that because im just some stupid idiot.

Do you know how many users come here and either report a problem that exists or doesn't? when a user has an issue that is found it is fixed... think I have a pretty good track record for fixing user issues...

Freezing image doesn't usually indicate a problem with PTVL, But an issue with the source, or system. When you experience lag or freezing while playging in PTVL its because of performance issues!!
Now if you experienced a black screen, or gui stopped working, then you know its related to my code... why? because my code only queues something up to play and creates gui for that data... it doesn't handle playing media!
well posting with !!! every sentence doesn't help. lets try and start over. i have done everything you said in regards to it being an issue with performance ALREADY before i posted, hence why i know its not a performance issue. also as stated above it works fine RIGHT NOW with MANUAL code.

there are obvious differences, hence why i still believe it is an issue with autotuning. hence why i continue to post here. i can sit here and manually do this and add it and get it working, but thats not what this is about. i want the features to work, so everyone can have it working also.
also, you are not on a paid subscription for ustvnow? so how do you know its not just an issue with me being a paid subscriber? it seems im the only one on here that i can see that is paying for USTVNOW so surely my input can help you can it not?

there are obvious differences, hence why i still believe it is an issue with autotuning. hence why i continue to post here. i can sit here and manually do this and add it and get it working, but thats not what this is about. i want the features to work, so everyone can have it working also.
also, you are not on a paid subscription for ustvnow? so how do you know its not just an issue with me being a paid subscriber? it seems im the only one on here that i can see that is paying for USTVNOW so surely my input can help you can it not?
now what i can see, plain as day is that everything is the same between those 2 sets of code except for one thing, the time value. perhaps this is the problem? oh wait it couldn't be that because im just some stupid idiot.

Can you tell me why you are convinced its on my end? you do know that the time switch has absolutely nothing to do with it... a matter of fact it's disabled for chtypes 8 and 9
if you have a paid USTVnow account can you PM me the setting2.xml that is auto generated? I want to make sure that it's listing channels correctly! take in mind this has nothing to do with freezing channels.
this would only cause a channel not to play at all...

no need to pm you, its the second set of code is the settings2.xml that was autotuned from my list of premium channels.
also maybe that is the thing, they are NOT playing at all, perhaps frozen was the wrong word but it looks frozen to me, but being frozen also means it is not playing
its not a black screen, its just like a single image of the first channel it opens.
and it could be on my end, who knows but you didn't even answer some of the questions i asked beforehand to help me try and figure out if it was.
for example:
1. since this only works in gotham, what do i do with all the Dependencies required in first post that are all for frodo?
2. does gotham have them all automatically?
3. Are you using Gotham beta 2 or 3?
4. do i need to update librtmp after upgrading to gotham or does it do that automatically? all the info i see for librtmp is in regards to frodo.

Can you tell me why you are convinced its on my end? you do know that the time switch has absolutely nothing to do with it... a matter of fact it's disabled for chtypes 8 and 9
if you have a paid USTVnow account can you PM me the setting2.xml that is auto generated? I want to make sure that it's listing channels correctly! take in mind this has nothing to do with freezing channels.
this would only cause a channel not to play at all...
no need to pm you, its the second set of code is the settings2.xml that was autotuned from my list of premium channels.
and it could be on my end, who knows but you didn't even answer some of the questions i asked beforehand to help me try and figure out if it was.
for example:
1. since this only works in gotham, what do i do with all the Dependencies required in first post that are all for frodo?
2. does gotham have them all automatically?
3. Are you using Gotham beta 2 or 3?
4. do i need to update librtmp after upgrading to gotham or does it do that automatically? all the info i see for librtmp is in regards to frodo.

1, 2. You install them, Gotham wil update them if needed...

4. Yes, you need to update librtmp every time you update XBMC.
5. Default is optimal settings, but you should also add recommend changes found in post 2. and you should tweak your advancedsettings bgthreadingmode.
You should also make sure you don't have any xbmc widgets or services that cause issues with PTVL found in post 3.
