hi,

there is a bugs with multi language support for this addon:

1. if the xbmc interface is not English, the pvr autotune is not working.
2. if the channels name in the pvr is not in English, the pseudotv-live does not save their name correctly in the autotune.

plaese fix this bugs.

a few questions/bugs/problems i have:

1. is it possible to disable trakt addon support only for this plugin? sometimes a movie start at the end and im asked to rate it, i want it to work on regular watching but not in pstl, i also dont want to mark a movie as watched after few minutes of watching.

2. i use alot of strm files for online content, sometimes it takes pstl alot of time to start a stream, maybe there should be an automatic timeout that skip to the next item after couple of seconds.

3. if i watch an episode from strm of a banned plugin and in the middle i switch to another channel, it remeber the position and ask me on each visit if i want to resume from the same minute, even if i exit xbmc and return to pstl on a later time and there is other episode on the same channel!, is it "banned plugin" problem?

4. when watching a channel of strm movies, always when entering the 1st movie start for 1 sec or two, and then skip to the next movie, plays it 1-2 sec and skip again and the third movie plays nice, although when running those strm not on pstl they work just fine....always the third movie works ?!?!?

5. sometimes when switching to a channel with online strm files, the screen goes blank, the audio remains from the previous channel and xbmc is stuck, the only thing i can do is pressing 'X' which stops the background audio and then i have to hard close XBMC

6. is it possible to import channels from "super favorites" and dont use super favorites anymore? i want to be able to delete it and use clean super favorites, it would be nice if at least all pstl channels under super favorites could be under one folder: PSTL -> channel_1, channel_2....

7. while using plugin type, 98% of the time im getting "waiting for file lock" and thats it, even canceleing doesnt work, i have to shutdown xbmc, is there anything i can do about this "file lock"?

I did a fresh XBMC install on my AppleTV 2 using Frodo as most plugins dont seem to be supporting Gotham yet. I downloaded the master.zip file from the first post and did an install from zip in XBMC. Next, I went to my Add Ons, opened the PseudoTV Live settings, went to Debugging and enabled it for better logging and started the Addon.

At first, things look promising. I see it starts the Auto Tuning process, I see it going through a variety of Youtube channels and then at 55% it crashes

Disabled Auto-Tune, start it up again and it starts building the channels (checking the videos in each channel and storing it in the database, from what I could gather). Next, halfway the process, it just halts. No progress, no closing of the window, no hanging. Just stops:

As you can see, it sat there for more than half an hour, but nothing happened after.

This is the channel (Channel 32, 63%) that it gets stuck on. Even after a restart:

Last Update. I removed Channel 32 from settings2.xml, then restarted, it proceeded beyond the broken channel and started playing a stream from one of my plugins. Its still behaving wonky as it crashed after I opened the EPG, but that could be many things. Wonder what I need to do to fix up my installation to make it more stable?

any luck getting the epg information directly from the pvr without using xmltv?

think i found a few bugs.

i installed a new version (clean) with no configuration files.

channel 1 - playlist - not populating
channel 2 - tv genre - not populating
channel 3 directory - populated ok



where should i start debuging?

1. No, disable trakt or turn off ratings.
2. there is, use recommend settings in post 3.
3. This is a problem with the video plugin... I've posted at the hub about this issue... Its a really easy fix.
4. Sounds like the video is failing... strms arent dependable. They can drop for many reasons non of them pseudos fault.
5. Is this happens when a switching to local tweak your system for network or I/o performance. If it's when switching to a stream it's because of latencies over the Internet, almost no streams are instant. .. some take awhile.
6. I'll look into it...
7. Sounds like the plugin is hanging. .. no way to detect or avoided it... so don't use that plugin or find the folder or file it's hanging at and work around it.

I might be being a bit thick here but i'm having trouble updating to the latest version with the all the changes from the change log in the first post.

I downloaded the master from the link in the first post and extracted it to the psuedotv live folder. When going to the plugin info it shows v0.3.9 and doesn't have the new fixes/features mentioned.

Am I missing something?

Yeah I followed them cleared the folders etc but the plugin still says 0.3.9 and doesn't have the latest features from the 1st post

It's not going to be possible at the moment, XBMC json does not return path information for PVR backend... So I have no way to detecting and using different paths.

I'm working on Community List sub categories... For simplicity I want to keep the categories very basic and few.

So far I have :

TV Networks - AMC, BBC, ESPN, NBC, etc...
TV Shows - Seasons/Episodes
Movies - Full Movies
Misc - Other
International - Non English Content

Any ideas for other "basic" categories?

5. I think its always switching To streams but i left it like that for more than 10 min for testing but nothing...

Should these changes be in the latest master build on the first page because they don't appear in v0.3.9 for me:
