Okay so you're using default skin, and Channel sharing? And it's happening on the client? Or master?
Ok so I got it working, I guess I missed one of the dependencies when I tried to install the first time, thanks for the help.
The other issue Im having is when adding and RSS channel. For some reason when I add it, the channel is populated by movies I have on my local drive instead. This happened to the default HD Nation channel as well, and I didnt even edit that one.

Sounds like something is wrong with your setting2.xml delete it and delete cache folder in userdata/script.pseudotv.live

Yes, I am using the default skin and channel sharing. I'm not sure what you mean by client or master. If you're referring to where my shared channels reside, I store them on my NAS.

I'll try and duplicate your setup and see what's going on...
Lunatixz, common plugin cache updated with the fix: prevent "'ascii' codec can't decode byte" errors(v 2.5.5),but PLTV still can't parse content with non-english sets.
Any ideas? Here's the log if it helps:

Log? does '22' point to a channel id in an xmltv file?

copied the xmltv.xml file to the local c:\ drive and it worked.
if i place the file anywhere else (like on the network) it will say in "waiting for file lock" and in the log i get:
WindowsError: (123, 'The filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect', 'smb://SERVER/Temp/xmltv.xml')
no matter what OS i am trying to use. i tested this on windows and openelec.
any ideas?

hi
i second tromy.
i scraped all my movies with a hebrew site movie scrapper (sratim) so all the titles are in hebrew (and info)
the genre are in hebrew as well so i use playlists (if i run the playlists manually i can see all the movies there)
when i populate the channels, only movies with numbers only (like 42, 1408 and etc) are showing and all the 3000 movies in hebrew are missing.
in frodo it worked just fine with the current movie list. will this be resolved soon?

For your issue I think u should go to settings/misc/disable system caching and then force reset channels. This will propably fix it.Lunatixz is working on it and I hope he will solve it

Weird, I'll check it out... That was fixed along time ago...
I've finally got my live tv channels all working with Pseudo Tv now =D
A couple of requests I do have though would be:
Settop box mode - It would be nice if this functioned similar to the Live TV functionality. E.g. it loads up the epg/channel data when XBMC starts and continues to update in the background so you have 0 delay switching in and out of the main menu, epg and channels. It would also be nice if Pseudo TV kept playing when you went back to the menu until you start something else.
EPG Colouring - Would be nice to specify this as an option per channel so I can colour all my live tv channels one colour etc and playlist channels another etc.
EPG Categories/Size - An option to increase the amount of channels per page and assign channels to sub categories would be cool e.g.
http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3402/3408...473f8e.jpg
Handling multiple strm fails - atm on some of my tv show channels I have some shows missing with missing dead strms for entire series and if it fails a bunch of episodes in a row I get playback failed which results in pseudoTV becoming unresponsive.
I'm not seeing many PM's concerning joining the PTVL Community...
if I don't see more users willing to contribute, I'll be forced to make the community list private to contributors only!
The concept is pretty straight forward... Users should consider joining...
