I am trying to get your USTVnow plugin working with pseudotv live. I created a USTVnow account and then configured it in xbmc, tested it and it works. Copied your ustvnow free settings code to my settings2.xml and when its done loading the channels i get a black screen until i have to force quit.
here is the debug log.

Nope, I am using the PTVL skin supplied.
just asking, fixed your problem but noticed other issues... for example your interleaving is still not working.... your missing a value somewhere....
Yup, I am still working on the interleaving problem. I came to the conclusion that PseudoTV Manager was the root to the problem. I noticed that it had things missing, namely in PTVL there are new fields (at least to me) in the advanced rules of interleave that were not present before.
Play # Episodes and Start Position
In PseudoTV Manager those fields are missing.
As you know PTV Manager was designed primarily for the original PTV, before PTVL evolved to it's present state of glory.
Also I noticed that there are some phantom rules in a few of my channels which are probably causing problems. They are greyed out/Uneditable and were certainly not put in there by me.
I spent the best part of the weekend finding this out. So decided to recreate my setup from scratch using the native tool within PTVL itself.
I used autotune and the randomly interleaved channels to see if it worked. It worked perfectly as you previously confirmed from you testing your setups. So I went ahead and started remaking my channels without the PTV manager, but my newly created movie channels would not interleave with my folder based BCT's!?!
I grew frustrated and reverted back to my original settings2 so the kids and the other half could watch something. Unfortunately I have no logs or anything, but I shall give it another go later this week or over the weekend and provide you with some logs in the hope of you helping me straighten it out.
I just wish someone would update PTV manager as it is extremely tedious and time consuming recreating my type of large, complex channel setup within XBMC/PTVL. Plus there is currently no way to rearrange channels once they have been created.
Again thanks for all the hard work and dedication you have put into this addon, I am forever grateful.
video patcher not working.

Thanks, I'll push fix later...
were you able to get your livetv setup?
(2014-06-04, 10:56)Rastan Wrote: [ -> ]Again thanks for all the hard work and dedication you have put into this addon, I am forever grateful.
Yeah Pseudotv manager can mess things up, it's old and out of date. I wouldn't recommend using it, even though its handy.
Hopefully someone will update it, I gave it a shot. But de-compiling the vb code left gaps in the code that I was unable to fix and the dev never returns my pm's...
When Pseudotv live is in final build, I plan on working on a companion tool but right now i'm pressed for time.
If anyone out there can whip something up, i'll be more then happy to help out where I can.

Yes Sir! @
Dec64 helped iron out the initial kinks. from then on it was easy. Still trying to iron out icons or lack there of for chans.
for example - line
Code:
<setting id="Channel_702_rule_1_opt_1" value="CBS" />
is getting the CBS logo but
Code:
<setting id="Channel_704_rule_1_opt_1" value="NBC" />
is not getting the NBC logo.
oh and GoT always trending.... i havent started that show yet but is it really always trending? lol
now that I think of it ... would be cool if there were channel or network banners in the same sense that there are banners for TV series and movies.

Trending is whats trending for the day (Globally), it changes... but you will notice recently aired popular shows stay trending for a few days...
When videowindow patch is enabled it's replaced with the video box.
As for logos, it means you have a cbs logo, but no nbc logo.
if the name of the channel is NBC then you need to have an NBC.png file in the folder you keep your logos in... filename has to match channel name exactly.

That's the thing though. In your logo download there is a NBC.PNG file that is not being pulled.
*edit* I see why. its in one of the ALT folders.
I will also send you icons for chans that I have that you are missing in your pack.

maybe try and create a set file structure the same way xbmc does for files?
Chan # - Name
702 - CBS HD.strm
702 - CBS HD.png
702 - CBS HD (Banner).png
702 - CBS HD (Icon).png
702 - CBS HD (Clear Logo).png
702 - CBS HD (whatever.i.missed).png
*edit* maybe try to create packs based on the cable providers? Fios, TWC, Uverse, Comcrap, etc... whatever else is out there?
some chans do not have any logo or banner - any gfx artists willing to help throwdown to complete?

Great idea, but I'd rather program... anyone willing to work on it?

I can work on what I have - up to the rest to handle it as I do not know the other service providers.

Was there ever any progress on this? Installed today and everything seems to be working but all videos start at their beginning. I tried the subtitle folder fix mentioned in previous posts, but didn't work for me. Every time I change to another show, it starts it over from the start.
Just seeing if anything ever came of it. Thanks.

This started up with me again with this last update, even with no subtitle files present - I am going to roll back to an older version tonight after work when I get some time.

Latest update includes what I believe to be a fix for the problem...

I like your icons
you should make a pack that includes all those "banner" types
i'm thinking about adding a "click" sound to the epg... what do you think?
