For the autotune channel reserve feature, is the expected behavior that once you:
Enable the setting
Save it, exit PTVL. config
Relaunch the config and enable all the autotuning
Set channel refresh at next launch and exit.
- that the first channel autotune starts with should always be 500, no matter what options/features are selected for tuning? And any existing channels already existing below 500 are preserved?

When enabled, Autotune will not delete your current channels but will replace channels 501-999 with whatever channels you enabled in autotune.
I'm entertaining the possibility of creating a repository for channel bumpers. It would be a place where users can share their channel bumpers and makes it easier for users to find some great bumpers easily. Would there be any interest? If so, I'll create a dropbox-like folder for now that I will use to share my bumpers.

I have an idea for a feature that I think a good many people would like to see, and I wouldn't mind doing some work to make it happen. Here's my idea: interleave channels but keep the other channel's logo. Here's the idea that spawned this thought. Let's say that you're making a Cartoon Network channel. Anyone who has cable and watches CN knows that at around 9/10, the channel turns into Adult Swim. Yet, AS does not have the CN logo--it has the AS logo. So, this would allow for more natural channels like that. Another gigantic reason that I think people would like this is to solve the problem of channels that have a mix of embedded/nonembedded logos. One could create a playlist channel that is customized to have only shows with the logo, e.g., "History Channel with embedded logo". Then, another channel could be created, "History Channel". "History Channel" would be the primary channel used for surfing: it would have shows that don't have an embedded logo and would have the logo added to it by PTVL. Then, randomly, the hidden "History Channel with embedded logo" would be interleaved into "History Channel" without the logo of the channel so the embedded logo would appear and take its place. How exactly does the interleaving for PTVL work? I honestly haven't done much snooping through the code.
I've actually been thinking about this idea for awhile too...I have a trailer channel (trailer park) that I use for interleaves and I've always wanted that logo to be used when the trailers play as opposed to the actual channel's logo. If such a thing is possible then yeah put me down as interested in it.
Hmm....The auto update didn't update. I actually haven't got my PTVL to work at all since the auto update of 4.4. I believe I get corrupt installs when there is an auto update. I wonder why that is. Is it because I run XBMC as a portable?
I still can't get PSTVL to work, all the properties in tv, movie, tv channels etc are blank, no strms works movies on my hd drive doesn't work I've provided logs and screenshot to no avail, so the only thing i can think of now is to uninstall xbmc and hope that helps.
Can someone please help me? Suddenly anytime I go to a channel it starts from the beginning no matter where the ticker is 100% of the time. It also says "changing channel" in white text and it never did that before either. Does anyone know how to fix this? I want the channels to start where the line is in the EPG!!

I've noticed this happening as well ever since updating to 4.5a
Happening to me as well since today's update. Glad I'm not alone.
Ok. I manually installed 4.5 and redid everything from scratch. It's behaving the same way it has since upgrading from 4.4. What happens is that it goes through the entire setup. It reaches the end and then gets stuck. PTVL will never start. It just hangs and never initiates the final step which is to get into PTVL itself. I remember having this issue in an earlier build but about two builds later it magically went away. I had to sit on a few non-working builds and I wanna be a bit more proactive of trying to get to the bottom of this issue. I believe it has something to do with my XBMC setup that has this problem pop up every now and then. Anyways, attached is my log. I noticed a buttload of errors and I wonder if it has anything to do with why my PTVL is not working.

Hi everyone.
am i the only one who is experiencing VERY VERY VERY long time populating channels?
i have around 50 channels that take more than 4 hours to build.
some are playlists and some are tv shows or movie genres.
i have 4 live tv via tvheadsend and 6 folder channels.
all the playlists have the <limit> 200 </limit> but it still takes a long time to populate
Now it installed like a charm. I was just a victim of Github acting up. Got the 0.4.5 installed last night and it works almost as I want.
Only issues are:
1. After channel switch, the program/movie starts from beginning.
(Mentioned already above)
2. If I enable trailers from youtube. PTVL plays just those trailers again and again. It's unable the start the tv-shows or movies in between.

their is something wrong with the youtube community network list, I"ll right an exception to ignore the problem in the future. For now don't build that list.
