with the ustvnow plugin, i believe that you wrote that version 9.9.9 - and it does not work at all, either in PTVL or as a stand alone. (in frodo it worked both).
Super Fav - no real fix for that yet
i did fix the vevo issue - (found a copy in the xbmc repo)
USTVNow plugin works fine!
Problem was that USTVNOW was having an issue (with my username password), after a few emails to them they corrected the problem and NOW ustvnow is working fine in psuedoetv live.
I did get the super fav to work. by manually creating all the required folders by SSH, then SF recognized the folders and the representation was correct. however, it still is not working in psuedotv live (psuedotv live will not or can not import the folders in SF) - any advise would be greatly appreciated.
the ONLY error I have still is with trak. (I get an error when xbmc starts stating that track script has failed)
I will email you the xbmc log if you wish.

Glad to hear you have it working... but errors from other plugins don't get reported here, nor would I look at the logs for them...
Try bringing up your issues in the proper threads.

Wow, even 5 seconds per channel is a long time. So if you have 50 channels, that's a little over 4 minutes. So every day when you start psuedotv you have to wait 4 minutes for it to generate the appropriate information...if you had 50 channels?

No first build for me is 5 seconds, per live channel. Thats with a 3day xmltv file. after that the cache is primed cutting down on parsing time... maybe 10 seconds to fully load after first build
Another thing to note is my system runs a mix of ram disk and SSD. I've tweaked the hell out of my htpc.

Fair enough. I only asked because they are recommended addons for this app.

Call me misinformed... Isn't that what I did?
Nope if you did you wouldn't be prompted to update... since you manually did it... make sure you dl correct version and make sure to reboot after installing to insure latest code was loaded.
Okay I would really like to know where I am going wrong... Here is my process:
1. Backup my settings2.xml file.
2. In XBMC, uninstall PTVL.
3. From my laptop, SSH in and issue the command "rm -R .xbmc/userdata/addon_data/script.pseudotv.live" (Openelec on Pi)
4. Reboot the Raspberry Pi.
5. Install from zip the latest master from this link:
https://github.com/Lunatixz/script.pseud...master.zip
6. Reboot.
Despite doing all of that, it still proclaims I am on 0.4.6, and prompts for an update. I haven't even bothered to restore my settings2.xml file yet.

Uninstall ptvl first then install new one... That has to work!

I have been uninstalling it and rebooting first. This literally isn't making any sense. I'll poke around a little and see if I can figure out what is happening.
ETA: Okay, I'm not sure why this makes a difference, but it worked perfectly after I uninstalled, then went into Sio2-X skin settings and removed its now unlinked icon for PTVL from the home screen, and THEN rebooted and reinstalled.
I'm not sure how a skin can cause that to happen, but it's figured out now.
Just upgraded, skipped a few versions as iv been moving to a new flat. Gota say its really getting some polish on it now. Very nice work Luna.
I have been wondering, the new functions in place to avoid hanging the EPG incase of stream failing or file not playing are really nice but would it be possible to define a specific fallback for each channel if we so wish?
for example a feature that enabled me to say on a 24/7 live stream channel type, If i have multiple sources for the same channel I could add them to some kind of insurance que. So if i go to try channel X but the strm i have is down, it would try my next strm source for the same channel so i could sitll watch the channel. Otherwise i would have to have 2 of the same channel in the EPG. It would be even nicer if there was also a way to force the source to switch incase that stream got slow/laggy.
Just downloaded the latest dev version, and I can't get the window patcher to work. It runs and tells me to restart xbmc and I do but with the default skin the video window is not showing up. Also can you give a little more direction on what I need to add to my keymap to get the previous channel working?

This happened to me. Change your PTVL skin to the classic, and change it back to ptvl. Run the video patcher, when it says remove patch press no, then when it says reapply patch press yes. restart xbmc and then the window should be back,

Going through some logs, it looks like it's hitting a sqlite database somewhere, even though all my shows and library is stored in a mysql database and configured as such in advancedsettings.xml. I moved the xml file from mc2xml to a ram disk, but that didn't really do much for speed.
My questions are:
- If pseudotv is using a sqlite database, where is that db located on the filesystem?
- What does pseudotv write to? A sqlite database? Just the cache directory in ~/.xbmc/userdata/addon_data/script.pseudotv.live ?
Thanks!

Worked like a charm. Has anyone got the previous channel function to work? I'm not %100 sure what to add to my keymap.

Thanks, having this same issue. Will try this myself

PseudoTV Live doesn't use Sqlite or any db for that matter... what are you trying to discover?
