Here's the link to my PTVL skin.

A couple things to remember though...

1. Rename the default skin that PTVL installs with or my skin will overwrite it.

2. My skin comes from a project that began back on the Aeon Nox forum. The idea was to create a skin designed exclusively for the Aeon Nox skin, which means that in order to use my skin and have it all look the correct way you need to be running the Aeon Nox skin.

3. Also my skin is hardcoded to match the orange Aeon Nox theme, again adjust your skin settings accordingly.

4. My skin is specifically designed to work with my custom channel logo's, so if you want to use any other the other great logos out there you will have to edit them.

The skin will be updated accordingly in conjunction with Lunatixz' updates.

If we get more skins... I'll add a setting to select skins...

How or where do i install this? I found your other guide here,
http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=157452
but I'm using AeonMQ4 and I don't see any "default" folder in my directories. The skin looks awesome and I really want to check it out on my interface.
you probably should not try to use that skin. luna made a lot of changes that wont show up with that skin if you want a different skin i suggest trying the one ARYEZ made. you can find it a few pages back.

I've installed the latest stable release from your Dropbox Zip File, however when I go into Adds-On and try and install, the "downloading 0%" text appears then disappears and nothing happens.

I'm running Frodo on a Mac Mini (Intel 2010 model)

Any ideas what I'm missing or doin[/u]g wrong?

BUMP - any help would be appreciated

as it states on the first post "Recommended for the casual user, Only updated on stable version changes... <Having problems with my repo, might not work>" so for now just use the stable https://github.com/Lunatixz/script.pseud...Stable.zip or the nightly https://github.com/Lunatixz/script.pseud...master.zip
Quote:Yep, I did commit them to my TVGuide fork. Feel free to grab them for what you're doing. There is a class for couchpotato.py, sickbeard.py, tmdb.py and tvdb.py.

You can see there was a simple record via sickbeard implementation in the TVGuide EPG: https://github.com/robnewton/script.tvgu...de.py#L442

Hi angrycamel
Anyway you can update your TVGuide plugin to include the official TVGuide commits and make it work as it gives a plugin error when you run it?
@ mo123 could you pm next time... this is off topic!
I have been using this very frequently lately and have a few questions but first want to say this has re-invented my xbmc box. Adding youtube channels to play like your flipping through a tv guide is simply amazing!
I am also having the youtube issue mentioned earlier where some channels start off at "buffering" and it never does anything unless you skip to the next video.
I was hoping there is a way to group multiple youtube channels together and im not sure the best way to do this. Is it possible to add more than one youtube channel to each PTVL channel?

Huge thanks for working on this fork and I cant wait to see where it goes!

Edit: is it possible to randomize the youtube playlist when it is imported into PTVL?

You can treat the youtube channel like any other channel... force random, interleave, etc... rules have to be manually added for now.

I looked into the problem with buffering on load... doesn't appear to be a problem on my end. When it happens pressing play should fix it...

I'm looking into a remedy, but the problem is hard to constantly repeat.

If anyone has suggestions for features let me know...

Can you give me a lead on how to manually code the rules?

The buffering youtube issue seems to be when im viewing playlists mostly

Thanks!

Easiest way is to build it in the channel manager... just pick some arbitrary channel type, build all rules then exit... then edit settings2 manually to switch channel numbers and correct chtypes, etc.

Once my features are locked I will add configuration options for those channel types to the manager.
Luna first let me say that I love your work. I really appreciate all of the hours you have sacrificed and the work you have shared. Having said that, pardon my noob question; where can I find the settings2.xml file on a Mac. I have had zero success searching for it.

I tried to open advanced channel rules but the button does not open any dialog box. I also had to use the mouse to get down to the channel type box, the arrow keys on keyboard/remote did nothing

If im better off waiting for the next version let me know, I can be patient Smile
Quick question...I know that VevoTV works, but do youtube vevo channels not work? Or are they just treated differently than regular youtube channels. For instance http://www.youtube.com/user/EminemVEVO fails everytime.
