If you really want to use this plugin... I suggest you stick with autotuning.

I have a question to anybody. How can I change the default Enter key that shows the guide to another key so It doesn't interfere with XBMC defaults?

I use a remote control with Eventghost and the center button is used as Enter Key to Show the Player Control OSD from where I can go to download subtitles.

Not sure I understand the problem...

sorry for my english, i'll try more,
for example if the path for a super favorite is plugin.xxx/genre/comedy, then when PSTL populate this channel you will actually see the screens as if you are browsing this channel.
when in "background updating" mode, it will overlay the video you are watching...

if its still hard to understand ill try to post a video of that.

There is no getting around this... If you change channels it should put PTVL back in focus.
You can always disable background building.
