So am I to understand you are "Claiming" that PTVL is trying to use Donor features then crashing because you are not a donor?

Huh, I guess that's what I get for trying to be too smart for my own good. I went and enabled verbose logging (because in times past no matter the issue that was always the first thing requested of me) and since things crashed at the same point I assumed it would have the same information. Here's the log without verbose being on:



Seeing as how the last thing PseudoTV Live related before the crash was a message about being unable to import the donor list I hope I can be forgiven for thinking there might have been a connection.

PS: About to trying installing OpenELEC or the latest version of Ubuntu-Mate to see if a slightly more standard system will give me better results than the hacky thing I put together from Bhodi Linux, so not really sure how much it all matters unless someone else is also having issues in this regard--I just wanted to show you I wasn't talking out of my rear end when I asked about the donor list. I appreciate the work you've done with this fork of PseudoTV; as soon as I can afford it I'll be donating I just can't do it today.

Lists are outdated, pushing a PTVL update that will break the list. They were taken down to avoid crashes.

But I thought you said you removed the autotune lists to prevent crashes on the new 0.5.1 release? Sorry, I'm just completely confused. If you removed it to avoid crashes, then why *should* we rebuild these lists anyway? Is it my understanding that PseudoLibrary is completely replacing the need for these autotune lists?

E.g. I noticed that the Steam Video plugin was in the old addon.xml list, but that plugin doesn't even work anymore for anyone (to my knowledge).

I'll hop to it. If you'd like, I'd love it if you'd possibly PM me the old community lists so I have somewhere to start. If you'd rather I search for feeds and plugin paths from scratch I can...but it seems odd doing that much work when there's a framework already built. Up to you though!

Yes and no, some links were no good, but mainly I did make a format change, note the Genre type is new.

As for a list, I Don't have it... The only one I have was updated by a user, and for some reason the user edited out import info, so some of the configurations are bad. I think it's best to start over!

This works fine on android phone/tablet/ouya I have over 400 channel's working on all devices only thing I have yet to get it working great on is original Xbox. this guy keeps complaining because he has done something wrong and would rather someone else fix his error then read threw the thread ignore him.

You ignorant geeks!! You only care about getting it to work in your own systems!! That's the reason this addon is so messed up!! Is it homebrew?? You guys act like is a club for advanced users only!! Agreed! I'm rebuilding it from scratch as we speak. I'll submit the update by this time tomorrow!

every time I do a channel reset and there's an error building the channels there's no way to quit PseudoTV except a hard reset. Now it was USTV Now which I know is broken... Cancelling does nothing.

Update: Hey Luna I'm getting stuck at building a Super Favourite channel. Here's what the log says:

another update: so I compared your example Super Favourite channel setting in the first post to my channel in settings2.xml and the only difference was that _changed was set to True when in your post is False. So I set it to False and it worked, but it shows old videos.
Also that type of channel never shows its name in the EPG.

another update yet: last update was wrong. At some time there was a change in the Super Favourites channel settings. I had the filtered words in the place of the channel's media limit. Now the error makes sense: "ValueError: invalid literal for int() with base 10: 'create new super folder,explore favourites,explore favourites,explore xbmc favourites,explore kodi favourites,isearch,search"

Can you tell me whats going on exactly? PTVL doesn't just delete your settings2 file... you must be killing or shutting down PTVL improperly.. Can you tell me exactly what type of channel and what you are doing leading up to it?

Just so you know... and everyone should know I use PTVL daily, it's my main source of TV in my whole household... so problems like this are hard to miss, it's most likely something unique to your setup, which will require a lot of debugging on your end to help me figure it out...

USTVNow keeps making PSTVL crash when on opening. Have absolutely no idea why, was working perfect several days ago.
