Right click a movie with no files attached to it, click rescrape movie, repeat. I've yet to get 5 movies in a row without the program being unresponsive.

64bit, Windows 8.1. Going to go back to 1.3 and see if it's happening there.

Seems like you also see this http://bugs.embermediamanager.org/thebug.../issues/92
For me it happens on third movie scraped and after that you have to restart Ember
Not sure if Dan found any solution yet

I'm working on that bug (tvResults error).
But it is still not clear to me what the problem is.

I'ts the same process like with IMDB search result windows, but the IMDB windows don't produce this error Huh
I just wanted to quickly post - the experience with this version has really been good. The GUI is responsive and informative.
I experience no hangs or crashes. There are still a couple of trivial annoyances, but nothing in the context of the overall program.

Thank you for your work on this app.
New release online: Beta 2014-03-07.

Attention: YOU NEED NEW Settings.xml & AdvancedSettings.xml !!!!

I have renamed all existing and new settings parameter to more readable and understandable names.

Changelog:
- fixed: IMPA image scraper
- fixed: "Click Scrape" trailers & watched status
- fixed: poster and info cache in TMDB/IMDB search result window
- fixed: episode audio/video streams will not be removed in database
- fixed: global language will not saved after install wizard
- fixed: wrong filename displayed in search result window
- added: TMDB Adult Items setting (meant porn movie support)
- added: filename field & button in TMDN search result window

- added: tv show/allseason/season landscape support (only recognize existing, no scraping atm, but you can use local or URL images in edit windows, also drag&drop works)

- added: new tv show settings to install wizard
- improved: TMDB & IMDB scraper/search results (faster results than before)

... and many other small things that I have forgotten.

- Don't save the folder inside C:\Prgramms or C:\Users.
- Get .NET 4.5.
- Install Adobe Flash Player (if you want trailer previews).
There is no Log folder and if I hit the red error flag in top right corner Ember crash
Tried to create it manually with the same result, so the question is where the logs go, can't see it in user data section eider

The x64 version is still extremely slow on start up 1-2 minutes so no more tests on that on

Both x64 and x86 now report the correct versions

About my stalls on the third movie scraped, I first thought you solved it, but I was running with IMDB as first one and all was working, put TMDB as first and bang... stalls on third waited 5 minutes without any progress. So if you don't find anything on that one I have a work around that is acceptable

I think i know the problem. I have deleted a file which is probably needed. Big Grin
My mistake, I'll upload a new release.

Overwrite all existing files or do a fresh installation! I have added new features to this release ("Status" for tv shows and new trailer quality settings).

Upload will be done in 5min!
I have the following problem:

When I select (Re)scrape movie for a new movie, the "Edit Movie"-Window opens immediately, "Verifying movie details bar" shows activity, but the window for selecting a movie doesn't show. This state lasts forever, until 'I press OK or Cancel. I am using win 8.1 64.

Happens with both, x 86 and 64 version of ember.

Any Ideas, how I could fix this?

Thanks!

I think it's a problem with ZIP/RAR file. Check if you can see any scraper in settings dialog. I no scraper available, try to unpack the file with 7-ZIP.
Newest version just working wonderfully!

Only I just noticed that (re-)scraping TV series now adds extrafanart folders. Is there anyway to switch that off? I found lots of stuff (like turning off episode fanart and actor thumbs) but not extrafanart.

---
edit: seems a bit erratic behaviour. as soon as I asked the question here it stopped doing that. will investigate further...

second edit: rescraping BBC's Coast got extrafanart. although there are only two to choose from. The Last Airbender didn't get any, although there are lots. Up until now only documentaries got extra fanart (documentaries are a different source from TV Series or Kids stuff in my case, if that's any help)
I think it was the NET. I installed it and It is working now. Thank you.
Will it ever be possible to download disc art, logo's, Clear art, banners etc via Embermedia?

I ask because I have to run two scrapes via two programs to get my library the way I want it.

1. Using XBMC Frodo Aeon MQ5, it does a great job on D/L everything but Posters, Fan Art, and Thumbnails to my Individual movie folders. However the Posters, Fanart and Thumbnails get saved to a universal XBMC folder, which isn't ideal for my particular circumstances. If it were saved to my individual movie folders, things would be great for me.

2. Using XBMC scrapper I have little to no control over my metadata.

3. With Ember Media (specifically the new beta version) I love the control I have on my meta data, posters and artwork being saved to individual movie folders. The only thing missing is the inability to download clear art, disc art, logo's, banners etc....pretty much the info from Fanart.tv.

If ember was able to allow me to select and download from Fanart.tv then it would be a perfect solution for my needs.

My question is this; Is there any plans to integrate such a feature? Any insight would be much appreciated. Thx in advance.

Yes that is planned in the near future.
But we want to first of all edit the database to add all new image types from fanart.tv.
