@cw-kid

Its not the skin, its the scraper, I had to edit every one of the 200+ music video nfo files to get everything looking right.

Also, the artist image looks fine in the info page:
Image

If it helps the poster.jpg is what is shown there and should be from my experience be 490x720 at least thats what mine are and they all look fine, hope this helps..

Yeah I expect so.

How about the thumb image position ?

Cheers
See above, I edited that post the same time you posted lol

That a thumb / cover image you have downloaded yourself? When I added my music videos XBMC added thumbs for me and they are more square shaped rather than DVD cover shaped etc. And those get cut off on the far right of the screen etc.

Can you please post a sample .nfo file ?

Cheers
Sorry to do this but my issue is driving me Nuts..........Could one of you experts take peek at my question ...top of page 81?

OK thanks ShadowTek, I need to go through and sort out all my Music videos I think, maybe download covers and create nfo''s for each as you have done. So presumably your music videos are in separate sub-folders?

All my .MPG / ,WMV Music Video files are currently all just dumped in to one folder called "Music Videos". I guess to have cover artwork and an .nfo file for each music video, they will need their own sub-folder.

Unfortunately I don't have any music added to XBMC as I only use it for videos Sad
Is it similar to how concerts look? It may be the same issue as that.. that is image names?
Has anyone figured out how to get fan art showing for games in advance launcher? Everything works great in nox but no fan art no matter what in advance launcher in mq5?!?

I have them is sub folders by artist, so for example my Evanescence folder has all the Evanescence videos in it, then for example for a specific video like Evanescence - Bring Me To Life I have:

Evanescence - Bring Me To Life.wmv
Evanescence - Bring Me To Life.nfo
Evanescence - Bring Me To Life-fanart.jpg (1920x1080)
Evanescence - Bring Me To Life-poster.jpg (490x720)
Evanescence - Bring Me To Life-thumb.jpg (300x300)

EDIT: Though for thumbs I wished I'd used 600x600 but too lazy to re-make them all

This question ?

http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid...pid1551541

Sounds like your talking about the auto panel that comes in over the movie titles.

Its the same on my system, in movies in wall view if you linger on a movie title then the auto panel will come over with the details.

However in music in wall view this does not happen, seems there is no option for auto panel in the music wall.

That what you meant ? And you have some cover images missing?

For each of my albums I have a hi-res Folder.jpg in each albums folder on the file server, these Folder.jpg files are the albums cover artwork etc, I have a large music collection and they are all displaying covers OK in music wall view.

OK I see, but why a Poster and a Thumb image? I would have thought a Poster was all your needed no?

I've never really setup music video files properly before in XBMC.

Music Concert DVD rips are OK and work / look OK, but individual music video files, I was never totally sure what to do with them and TheAudioDB.com scraper didn't detect half of my music videos anyway, which is why I guess you created your nfo files for each of them !
Aeon Nox uses the thumb image, that's why I have it, I just assumed MQ5 did as well, but as I don't see it used, I guess you don't need it.

OK that makes sense then, might sort my music videos out next week then as you suggested.

I still think there is a bug in MQ5 however with square thumb images and the Concerts area though.

That music extrafanart issue I wrote about is more annoying at the moment though.

Cheers

That's due to not having a fallback image set in the code I believe.

Yeah it should fallback to the default artist fanart image in the XBMC database, or however that works internally.

Instead it displays the fanart image of the previously or last view artist which is wrong.
