Full Version: Videos 'Buffering' a few seconds after skipping/scrubbing. Mavericks to blame?

Have just installed OS X Mavericks and now when I skip through videos during playback, rather than it being a quick transition, there's about a 1-2 second pause while it 'catches up' to the point it's meant to be skipping to.

This has only started happening since I installed Mavericks. Could this be related to the SMB2/AppNap issues I've read about in other posts??
