Hi,

i don't know if this is a problem only i suffer from, or is it a known issue.
whenever i watch recorded TV show and then try to fast forward, it crashed and go back to the recordings menu.
i am not able to FF more than that speed.

i am using openelec on an xtreamer Ultra box.

i suffer from something similar on windows, and would be happy if others could share as well, for me fast forward at x8 is stuck every couple of seconds then continue.
i think its related to what you describe - but maybe in openelec it just crashed instead of stuck
