I'm successfully getting movies from the mashup repository going from my iMac, to appletv through airparrot. but i can't do anything with the appletv remote. can't pause or stop the movie.

any way of getting that to work?

thats not supposed to work. you would need to pair the appletv remote with your imac to control playback. when using airparrot you are mirroring your screen to the atv where the atv2 behaves like a dumb screen.
