Running Gotham beta 3 on my Ouya. Most movies run fine but two have issues, and had in the last betas as well so I decided to post the issues. Really must stress the other 60 run fine but perhaps this can help improve the final version.

Issue 1: Movie captain Philips shows a pulsating fully distorted image, every second or so a few frames look fine
-Same issue in older SPMC 12.4.1 build for ouya based on frodo
-Runs fine on my Asrock 330 with either frodo or Gotham beta 3

I also played it on my laptop in MPC-HC and it gives these file properties:

Update: checked both issues on beta4, still exist.
Try two things, one try updating to the latest nightly build (wiki), which will be based on Beta 4. I think some stuff was touched on between beta 3 and 4 for mediacodec that might help you. If that doesn't work then try going into XBMC -> Settings -> Videos -> Acceleration -> and disable "MediaCodec", but leave "libstagefright" on.
Thanks, sorry I didnt spot your reply earlier. I installed RC1 this week and the DVD menu issue is gone (issue 2). Issue 1 still occured. Will try your suggestion this weekend and update here.
Just tested, issue 1 still exists in RC1, also with Mediacodec disabled.

I've had this issue to, I even posted the issue here http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=177431&page=2 but haven't gotten a reply, If you mux the video to m2ts or iso it will play fine just not mkv and it only seems to happen with certain blurays.
just tried a remux of pacific rim and does the same thing, is anyone looking into this issue?
Just tested in 13.1 beta 1, issue still the same. Also tried with suggested mediacodec disabled, didnt help. If I can try anything please let me know. Could perhaps send a link to part of the file via PM.
Still here in 13.1 RC1.
Just installed 13.1 final, issue still here. Repasted the log to avoid it expiring, it is still the log from the RC but issue hasnt changed.
