Running an ubuntu 13.10 backend server with generic mythtv setup (whatever version is in the repos). Multiple xbmc frontends, all some flavor of gotham nightly within the last month (and all then updated to the latest version). I have videos in the stock location on the backend (/var/lib/mythtv/videos) that I had been accessing via nfs from the frontends. Yesterday started getting "could not connect to network server" errors from all frontends. When I try to edit the video source in xbmc, I can see the backend and can browse to /var/log/mythtv and see the videos/recordings/music/pictures directories, but can not select them or go deeper. I don't think I changed any backend settings recently.

If I manually mount the nfs filesystem (create a new dir on the remote machine), I can then browse to that directory and add it as a source. Any ideas?
