So i just read the chupacabra update for ouya where they fixed ac3/dts etc, does that mean i can get rid of the sideloaded build, and download straight from ouya bug free??

Nope. They have passthrough audio support, so if your audio receiver supports those formats then you will probably be fine, but if you are plugging it directly into a TV then you will still need to sideload. People often think that the two audio issues are the same issue, but they're just two issues that touch on the same audio formats.
