I am coming from a dune/yadis setup and while I like it the interface and options are limited based on what i am seeing with xbmc. So I am currently in the process of testing out xbmc 13.1 and so far I have a central database setup with 2 clients in vmware right now as a poc and it seems to be working fine.

My question is if I am in thumbnail mode browsing the movies if I click on a movie it starts to play immediately but is it possible to go into the movie info screen instead of playing the movie? Currently my dune interface goes into the moviesheet and we like that functionality.

Yep, XBMC -> Settings -> Videos -> File lists -> Default select action

Is there a setting to show the trailer button? if i right click on the movie and choose the movie info it shows there but not from the setting the default action.


EDIT: never mind, it was only a couple movies. i guess there were no trailers for them ...
