I have a Avermedia AverTV Volar Max model: H826 D usb tuner stick. I want to know if I can use it to make one of my RasPi's into a tv tuner box for an under the counter sd tv in the kitchen. Is this stick compatible with OE or RASPBMC? And how doI set it up?
So there is no way to make it work, not even a patch. Does that apply for all distros or just OE?
for all distros released the last 2 years at least, before it was already supported with much ugly hacks for another 2 years. there is simply no interest and support from Aver to still support the devices, so you know what you should not buy in the future.
Is there a list of compatible devices? Possibly a really cheap one, that uses a generic driver. Don't really want to spend alot for this project. Atsc
