I have been using XBMC for a few years now off and on. Just recently I updated to the newest revision of XBMC. Shortly after, not immediately after, playback become choppy. I have no idea why.
I am running Windows 8 with 8GB RAM and a 2.3GHZ processor. Standard computer nothing special.
I have reset all the settings in XBMC to default and no change in the video.
The first time I had this issue was a few years ago and it turned out to be a sound issue. None of the manipulations of sound device or syncing playback work.
I sync my library using MySQL
I am using a wireless network connection
All videos, including 1080P work fine playing in Windows Media Player
Anyone have any ideas
