When a main menu item has been customized such that its sub-menu has no entries the sub-menu should not appear at all. Optimally there would be a setting in the customization screen that would allow the sub-menu to be disabled.

Surely, you don't actually see that unless you press 'down' to open the sub-menu items

Again, not possible in MQ5. Put if forward for MQ6.

You are correct, but it is about attention to detail is it not?

Who's to say he didn't make it that way on purpose?
