Hi,

I have the 3 discs set for Aeon Flux (the animated series) and I can't seem to figure how to get them scanned into the library.
I've tried various naming conventions and failed miserably. I also read the wiki and I think I got it alright but things are still not working.
Here's how my files look now

Aeon Flux - S01.E01_S02.E01E02E03E04E05.iso
Aeon Flux S03E01E02E03E04E05.iso
Aeon Flux S03E06-07-08-09-10.iso

None of those worked.
Any help would be very much appreciated.

EDIT
I see now you say that you have looked at the wiki, but none of your examples match EXACTLY any of those on the wiki page above.
Thanks,

Let's follow the wiki then

Aeon Flux_S03E06_S03E07_S03E08_S03E09_S03E10.iso or Aeon_Flux_S03E06_S03E07_S03E08_S03E09_S03E10.iso - same as anything_s01e01_s01e02.ext - Not working

Aeon_Flux.S03E06.episode6.Reraizure.S03E07.episode7.Chronophasia.S03E08.episode8.Ether Drift Theory.S03E09.episode9.The Purge.S03E10.episode10.End Sinister.iso or
Aeon.Flux.S03E06.episode6.Reraizure.S03E07.episode7.Chronophasia.S03E08.episode8.Ether Drift Theory.S03E09.episode9.The Purge.S03E10.episode10.End Sinister.iso - same as
anything.s01e01.episode1.title.s01e02.episode2.title.ext - Not working

Aeon Flux.S03E06.S03E07.S03E08.S03E09.S03E10.iso - same as anything.s01e01.s01e02.s01e03.ext - Not working

Aeon Flux.3x06_3x07_3x08_3x09_3x10.iso - same as anything.1x01_1x02.ext - Not working

anything.ep01.ep02.ext - Not entirely sure how to use this pattern

I did try a few other settings like replacing the white space in "Aeon Flux" with other characters such as ".", "_" all to no avail.
And that's the "easy" ISO file that only has episodes from the same season, disc 1 has one episode from the 1st season and five from the 2nd.

What am I missing?

EDIT
Had a TYPO in one of the names, corrected it, still not working.
Try with low chrakters:

Code:
Aeon Flux_s03e06_s03e07_s03e08_s03e09_s03e10.iso

if you tried exactly with this:

Code:
anything_s01e01_s01e02.ext

I presume XBMC doesn´t know what to do with ".ext" which is a placeholder for the taken container (.mkv, .iso, etc....)

If this still doesn´t work, please post a full Debug Log on a pastebin site (www.xbmclogs.com) while scraping those files and please provide the link.

In some cases, you have to completely remove the source, clean the library and add it new for getting this solved.

Maybe...and that´s just a guess...I looked at TVDB.com for the correct naming of your series. In some languages they took a "Æ" for the first letter. Looks like "Æon Flux". You may run into other problems while taking this symbol, because of UTF-8 encoding. But I would try if all the other variants failed.

Greetings
Thanks,

I'll try that when I get home (low case and the UTF-8 naming).

Thanks again.
I just did a couple of experiments.

I went on thetvdb.com website and saw that it is called 'Aeon Flux' in the French and Italian versions, but 'Æon Flux' in the English, Danish and German versions. So I set up a dummy file and named it

Æon Flux.S03E06-07-08-09-10.iso

David1977's idea of changing 'Aeon' to 'Æon' solves your problem. The 4 episodes are entered into the library as you would expect.
Just a thought...maybe this doesn´t make any sense because of other titles. But it would be cool if the scrapers also recognizes the tv-show ID in the filename, which is always the same for all those series. For example it´s "79349" for "Dexter" in all languages. So the filename could look like:

Dexter_79349_s01e01_s01e02_s01e03_and_so_on.iso

The language setting can be done in the scraper settings....

Would be nice. So you don´t ran into any naming problems. Just do a little search (as we did in this case, too) and you´re ready.

Greetings
It was the character at the beginning of the name, I guess I needed the extra set of eyes.

Thanks!
You can also make it way simpler.
