1. Version of XBMC. XBMc 14.0 Alpha 2, also tried stable release on website
2. Windows 8.1
3. Core 2 Duo E7300
4. 4 GB
5. Cannot get audio not matter what I do, tried uninstalling realtek audio completely, even though trying to use DirectSound, not output devices give audio, Plex fork gives audio fine.
6. AMD 6870 graphics card for video, onboard audio device for audio, mobo is MSI G41TM, trying out with desktop PC before deploying to HTPC, Dual monitor set up if that matters

@seanami This is probably caused by you having an Alienware Dual Compatible Controller joystick connected to your system.
Try disabling it as an input device to XBMC.

Unset the option:

SYSTEM->SETTINGS->SYTEM->INPUT DEVICES->Enable joystick and gamepad support.
