I've just bought a samsung galaxy tab s 10.5 and tried with no luck 3 xbmc apps from the playstore with no luck so I thought instead of trying them all maybe some one could point me to finally some working app ?

Thanks !
XBMC doesn't have an app in the playstore, not an official one at least, so if you payed for one you got ripped off.

The correct way to install XBMC is to follow the instructions outlined in the documentation on the wiki.

The first step says "At the moment XBMC isn't available yet through the Google Play Store."
idoru17,
Go here:--
http://xbmc.org/download/
Then click on the Android ARM File and let it download. Next click to install it onto your Tab S and away you go. FYI xbmc/kodi works a treat on the Tab S.
well, thanks for the replies !

But I didn't pay for any app, they were free and I'm surprised when you says that none is avaiable at the moment because I can see right now an "Official Xbmc remote" by the Team Xbmc or Yatse, the Xbmc/Kodi and some others.

Then I tried the arm version, it worked nicely besides the smb protocol not allowing me to connect to my synology (even with my IP allowed ... ??) but UPNP worked so I'll dig deeper tomorrow !

Thanks again for the information !!
Oooh, you're talking about the remote and not XBMC itself. That would explain the confusion here :)

So you say Yatse doesn't work? I don't have an Android handset myself, but I hear good things about Yatse.
