The reply is the standard one for piracy related issues and is far from offensive and arrogant.

What exactly is offensive about the response? Not a dig, genuinely interested.

None of the guys you communicate with on this board are employed by XBMC foundation

sure, it makes perfect sense to go support the guys that gave you fusion and Hub, after all they live of XBMC name and use all teh good stuff that has been made here.

instead of reading up on what you did wrong, and why board doesn't allow this kind of posts you decide to remove yourself from here and move to Hub, sure no one here will try to stop you.... thanks for letting us know
XBMC is not a company, XBMC is free software, and XBMC in the sence of this community on xbmc.org is not a business.

The “XBMC Foundation” is the non-profit organization that operates the XBMC Media Center project. No members of XBMC Foundation or Team XBMC are however employees by the XBMC Foundation.

All people here are volunteers and assist with XBMC in their spare time for free as a hobby. No one here gets paid to help you, we do do this because we think is fun.

If it is no fun to help you then we will not due it, as that is not what a community is about. It is like helping your neighbor with his computer, if he is an unappreciative asshole or ask you to do something illegal for him then you probably won't help him.

The people in this community do not act as professionals because helping you is not their profession, it's a hobby.

Quote:About the XBMC Foundation, Team XBMC, and other developers

Created in 2003 by a group of like minded programmers, Team XBMC is a group of volunteers located around the world.
More than 450 software developers have contributed to XBMC to date, and 100-plus translators have worked to expand its reach, making it available in more than 65 languages.

Created in 2009 to deal with mounting development costs, as well as paperwork and travel to developers conferences and tradeshows, the XBMC Foundation is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to pursuing the development of great software and innovation. Feel free to support our foundation and donate to support us.

XBMC is however a business for independent pirates from Hub and Fusion who make money on ads. XBMC if also a business to commercial companies that pre-load XBMC on their media boxes.

So if you want professional help then you need to turn to they people that are getting paid to help you. However if you just want help for free then be polite and we will help you without expecting anything else than you being nice in return.
