Hey there,
I'm definitely new here, but I will try and be as detailed as possible. I was running FRODO and was running into issue where my apple TV was restarting often, so i decided I would uninstall XBMC via my TERMINAL and reinstall a fresh version. In hopes that whatever the problem was would go away. Problem is that during the installing process, I cant seem to get past the very first step. I get an error message that says:
E: Could not open lock file /var/cache/apt/archives/lock - open (2: No such file or directory)
E: Unable to lock the download directory[/b][/b]
I've looked all over and have no idea how to fix this. I've also tried to install using NITO on the AppleTV itself and the same issue occurs. have my apple tv plugged into my iMac, Apple TV also plugged into the wall for power, but not connected to the tv mounted on my wall because my computer is in another room. My iMac is connected to the internet via wifi.
Computer OS: OSX 10.9.5
