I'm new on this forum and i hope you guys can help me out.
Recently i started using Kodi, the Helix version.
I installed the subscene subtitle finder and everything worked out for the first thing i watched (Soprano's). After that i wanted to watch something else so i downloaded the subtitles corresponding to the video i was about to watch. Here is the problem. It keeps downloading the sopranos subtitles on every new video i download subtitles for. No matter what i do i am unable to fix this.
Does anyone have this same issue?
I have the exact same problem. Also using Kodi. Have tried to uninstall/install subscene and opensubtitles addons, but no avail.
Managed to fix it for one file, by just removing the existing .srt file.
But in this case, im trying to download subs for Sons of anarchy, and get subs for walking dead, no matter wich sub i choose from either source, i get the same wrong sub. here is a pastebin

I cannot see any lines related to the subtitle download. But at line 462, something seems corrupt.
EDIT: tried to unpack the file, but stille the same problem. Got rid of the corrupt message in log tho.
Update to latest nightly and report back
Hmm, after a fresh install of the latest version (KodiSetup-20141016-b00d4a9-master) i cannot download/install opensubtitles or subscene addon. It just says 0% and then nothing happens.

debug activated and tried to install opensubtitles addon. Someting else is broken, couldnt download the XBMC debug uploader, same problem.
seems that there snuck a bug in recently with another fix that killed .zip downloading. Should be solved in next nightly version.
Worked out perfectly in the most recent release (18-Oct-2014)

I have the same issue. I just updated to the latest build (Nov 10) and the bug still persists. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the subtitle addons to no avail.
I also got the same problem using Raspberry pi - Open elec 5.0.8 - Kodi Helix 14.2 (21 April 2015). The Subscene addons keeps downloading the same subtitle no matter what tv series I'm watching. But at the same time, the OpenSubtitles addons is still working fine. So I just uninstall Subscene addons for now and use OpenSubtitles only.
I have also tried uninstall and reinstall Subscene, but it didn't fixed the issue (as mentioned above).
It seems the problem could 'infect' OpenSubtitles too, so I'm wondering if there's a cure for this before my OpenSubtitles get broken.
