Using the windows versions...
The only way, after searching, to have XBMC use your iTunes library (yes, I use it to keep devices happy etc), is to import the iTunesLibrary.xml file.
However, this is static. As I add to the library it needs to be re-imported.
Is there a way to automate this? There is no behind the scenes scripting I could do right?
Ideally XBMC would read the XML library on each rescan and update (like other libraries)
