Hello,

I'm wondering if there is a way I can set-up/maintain my parents XBMC remotely? They don't live near me, and walking them through things on the phone can be difficult. Just wondering if I could remote in and make changes. They're running android boxes - if that matters.

I think that if your parents are having so much trouble that they need remote assistance like this, maybe XBMC isn't right for them. The thing really can be a jerk in certian home brewed situations.

they're pretty good with it actually, but a few times I've wanted to change something, or add a new addon for them that I've found. just looking for an easy way to do that...if one exists

There are some VNC servers for Android. That might work.

Teamviewer allows you to remote onto android devices.
App is called quick support I think.
