work with XBMC running on intel NUC or MK908? I found this remote by accident on liliputing and it is what I was looking for since it is a gaming remote that looks similar to the Roku 2XS/3 gaming remote.

It should work just fine. Most of these kinds of remotes show up as a standard USB keyboard (or in some cases, a bluetooth keyboard).
