hi,
im fairly new to xbmc so not sure i can do this. I have some DVDs / Blu-Rays that i want to backup with full menu's and lossless video/audio
Can this be done? and play them through xbmc just as it would from disk?

Not sure what software i need if it is possible

XBMC will play blu-ray and dvd disks/iso files. You will need AnyDVD HD to be running for blu-rays to work. However it will not show full menu. You can use players like PowerDVD as external player in xbmc for playing disks with full menu support.
