Hi,

You should use apt: links so that people can install the packages right away after adding the repository. More info here: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/AptUrl

To get your program to appear in Add/Remove, you can follow these instructions: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/GnomeAppInstallD...atabaseAdd

Hope that helps, and thanks for making the PPA's for Ubuntu Smile
Sorry if this is a daft question but will this run on a G4 Mac?

Completely OT. But no, it won't.
Sorry, I'm really really new to Ubuntu and Linux in general. I just installed ubuntu yesterday. I can not get XBMC to install or find how to install it in any way shape or form. I even went through the linked explanations and can not figure it out! Please help me!
yup, same here.
Is Fanart Download broken? Also it keeps crashing if i want to delete TV Shows or change the TV Show
I have tried to download the PPA but I keep having unresolved dependancy errors. What can I do?

At least tell us what unresolved dependencys you have.
has the daily build ppa been reinstated? I'm not seeing it in the list but then I don't know if there's something special I have to do.

Sorry, it states:

Could not mark all packages for installation or upgrade
The following packages have unresolvable dependencies. Make sure that all required
repositories are added and enabled in the preferences.

XBMC:
depends: xbmc-common but is not going to be installed
depends: xbmc-skin-pm3-hd but is not going to be installed
depends: xbmc-web-pm3 but it is not going to be installed

Any help with this would be great! Thanks!

Can you paste your sources.list (from /etc/apt/sources.list) in http://pastebin.ubuntu.com/ and provide the link here ?

these addresses are invalid Undecided

http://ppa.launchpad.net/team-xbmc-hardy...ardy/hardy

http://ppa.launchpad.net/team-xbmc-hardy...inary-i386

So I believe that you made some mistakes while adding the repositories.
