Are these builds actually going to support librtmp or was that just a dev mixup.
Ugh. Another day, another build error.
Code:
checking librtmp/log.h usability... no
checking librtmp/log.h presence... no
checking for librtmp/log.h... no
configure: error: == Could not find libRTMP. RTMP support disabled. ==
make[1]: *** [override_dh_auto_configure] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/build/buildd/xbmc-10.08~svn32509'
make: *** [build] Error 2
i saw theuni posted a couple days ago that they figured out the problem and ppa should be back on track soon

:O Same here. I wanted to switch to the daily builds so I removed XBMC and its PPA, added the svn PPA, but no luck. So I figured, well, the SVN repo is probably broken so I re-added the stable PPA only to find out that this was broken too.
I guess I'll have to try the SVN source repo
It is wiped
, ceros started to cleanup the ppa mess.

Ah such unfortunate timing (on my part)
. Do you know when everything will be spick and span again?
No worries, there's always the APT cache
How do I access the cache?
I cannot install XBMC on Ubuntu because I always get a "Couldn't find package xbmc".
When will it be available again and why don't you warn us about that?
Ah ok that's what you meant.
No chance because I installed my system from scratch (Ubuntu 8.10 --> 10.04), so there is no archive.
Can you tell me where I can get the XBMC debs while they are not available on the server?
Hi !
I'm also waiting for the repo for stable version to be "up" again ...
Wait & see !
I used that time to
propose something to the team.
there is the site with the 'unoffical builds' on it you could grab a deb from there
