There are quite a few views nowadays for movies:
List
Info List
Media Preview
Coverflow
Panel Stream
It'd be interesting to know what everyone is using. I'm using info list for now, but I'm thinking of maybe changing it to media preview.
So, what's your favorite view for Movies?
Mine has been Media Preview even before we released and still is.

Mine is the animated Media Preview. Looks really nice with the icons I use. Here's a pic.....

Gotta give media preview a try. Looks like it's a good balance between movie info and fanart.

I use Info-list aswell, think it´s the nicest of those available, gives me the quickest overview.
Although I wish it had some more "info"... like genre, movielength, etc.

Yea that'd really be nice. Something like the "Wide" for tv shows where it's an info list but tuned especially for tv shows.

Is the movie that you are wanting to choose supposed to disappear when its front and center in Showcase view, or is this a bug? I noticed if you bring up the side panel to change the view, the thumb temporarily returns.
