I agree. thats the best looking guide i have ever seen. I love the genre colour strip at the bottom of each programme.

I would say the time in the bottom right in screenshots 10 & 11 is a little too large, however i have not seen it in the flesh so it may look as great as the rest of the skin.

Really fantastic work.
indeed, that EPG is really looking sexy. will give it a go today. thanks jezz_x!
Very nice, clean and professional looking skin....
will be giving this skin a go, want to see it in action Big Grin
keep up the good work,
Ruud.
Very nice, i have 2 small comments for now Smile

1. Channelmanager (Settings --> TV --> Channelmanager) has not been skinned yet i guess? Wont work here.

2. Tv-Icon's in menu (TV --> Channels) are not transparant and have a grey background. See images for example. I'm using .png images btw.

channel-list menu non-transparant

channel-list OSD transparant

Thanks for the nice PVR-skin!

1) yeah haven't done that yet
2) hrmm to be honest I'm not really sure what to do about this because I kind of made it for my icons that are not transparent to match the add-on and other xbmc icons http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=84845 I guess if the over whelming consensus it to not have a standard size and shape and be transparent I can probably change it in future versions

BTW thanks for the positive comments guys help motivate me to do more
I had been waiting for the PVR stuff to be officially merged but this skin made me test it out early, so far all good and an awesome looking TV experience with this skin!
Really nice skin! Much appreciated.
I have found a small bug:
If you play a movie with ac3/dts audio that uses pass through audio you can not do any selections in the audio menu. I guess this is due to that the first item (audio volume) in the menu is disabled.
Steps to reproduce the bug:
Make shure that XBMC is configured to use audio pass through.
Play a movie with ac3 audio
While playing the movie open the menu and select Audio Settings.
The audio menu will appear but its not possible to navigate the menu.

A bit off topic here. Sorry to inconvenience you, I tried out the media portal plugin for pvr testing on windows. It's very buggy at the moment. Does tv headend for Linux have any interlace issues? I know at the moment we cannot de-interlace using dxva in xbmc. This made my live tv experience much to be desired. Your screens however seem fine... Have you dissabled dxva ?

I just wanna try out your skin with live tv and was wondering if going to Linux would be worth it at the moment.

Sorry to off topic.

Keep up the great work! Looking good :-)
looking good! what TV server is best supported atm?

De-interlacing is still a huge issue and doesn't get done automatically I find I have to open up the video options menu and manually select it for each channel once then its remembered for the next time I play the channel
I really want to try out the PVR but have had no luck with Media Portal. It only works for me like 8% of the time. That said I still want to try Live TV on XBMC.Is Media Portal server the only option for windows at the moment. If so I will do a LINUX install.

sorry if off topic ...of to google XBMC PVR BRANCH now.
pretty sure mediaportal is the only one that works with windows as a server currently though its probably not finished and working 100% yet maybe try these ones http://www.scintilla.utwente.nl/~marcelg...build.html
