oh how i missed it...my favourite plugin of all time...

and now there FINALLY is a XBMC Dharma compatible addon!!!


so what's this thing got to offer?


weekly forecast on your home screen:




daily forecast with a variety of animated weather maps:




hourly forecast:




10 day forecast:




steps to make it work:

• download and install the addon using the: xbmc-addons repo
  
• go to Settings > Weather > Weather
  and select Weather.com+ for Dharma
  
• click the settings option below and select a category for the three map lists:
  Map #1 List -> Local
  Map #2 List -> World Details (Satellite World)
  Map #3 List -> (pick one you like)
  press 'ok' to save the settings
  

Transparency! skin support:

• T! svn users should update svn now...and you're done :-)
  
• if you run the stable version of Transparency!
  open MyWeather.xml and Home.xml an change all occurrences of:
  (Weather.Plugin,weather.com plus)
  to:
  (Weather.Plugin,weather.weatherplus)
  

Tips:

• on the weather screen, press up/down to scroll through the available radar maps...press 'ok/enter' to select.
  
• click the 'zoom' icon to have a closer look at the map
  
• hourly and 10 day forecast can be selected on the side menu
  

Finally:

• a big thanx to Nuka1195 for the weather.com plus plugin
  
• another big thanx to brightsr for turning it into a dharma compatible addon

Will the option for the weekend weather be added? I tried this with the Aeon skin and I like the way you can push down when on weather on the home screen so you can change what weather forecasts are used on the home screen - be great if you could add this. As always a big thanks for a top skin.

Am I the only one who actually turns off the weather, RSS feeds, etc? I always found them annoying. Good to see another plugin working well with the skins though!

I tested forecasts for Madrid, and it had no errors.
If any errors, please re-post xbmc.log on http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=52034. I'll help you with it.

Anyone know if the add-on icon pack supports Canada? The last time I ran this, most of the support was U.S.

as far as i know, you don't need the addon pack.
i'm not using it in the skin.

updated version of the weather.com plus addon: weather.weatherplus.zip

- adds support for weather alerts.

THANK YOU ALL VERY, VERY MUCH!!!! I was unwilling to upgrade to Dharma on my main HTPC just because it didn't have the weather plus, and the outstanding integration of the weather maps & radar images within T! It is by far the most used feature of XBMC in my house. Thanks again!!

another update of the addon: weather.weatherplus.zip

this time it adds a weather forecast video.
weather videos are only available for US locations.

you need the svn version of T! for this one.
