I also get the addon.py error when I try to watch a trailer. Deinstalled and installed "The Trailer" addon and didn't help.

I set the download path and it works fine. Thanks a lot!
Is it possible the path got removed by an automatic update? It always worked fine but since a few weeks it suddently stopped working.
I saw the download path in the menu but believed it is only necessary if I want to download the trailers and not if i only stream them.

yeah it seems stupid that it needs to be set. will fix that some day
View only unwatched - cu_shane - 2012-09-25
I can't get only unwatched trailers to be displayed. I don't see an option to even mark trailers as played manually the same way that I can with movies. I am using Quartz -- is this a skin support issue or is there something wrong with my configuration of this add-on?

We had to make a choice, either make it available in movie views or support un/watched. So choose the view. In XBMC Frodo it supports both

My problem solved as well. I didn't know that you have to set download location for streaming.

You were right, I had to manually update to version 0.9.2 and now it works great! Only my custom Quality-profile isn't seen by the plugin?

I went thru all the settings once again and tested the Quality-profiles with the Greesemonkey Userscript in Firefox. It shows up without a problem, why isn't it showing up in The Trailers?
Actually it doesn't adopt any of the things I put in the "Quality"-settings, I hid most of the formats there, but it shows all the default ones from 1080p to Telecine, etc.
