RE: YouTube - Skeeve - 2020-11-28 I understood that the youtube plugin iis no longer working in regards to accessing personal settings. Is that correct? But what I also experience is that some Videos simply do not play. https://pastebin.com/wpXYLjGN RE: YouTube - Skeeve - 2020-11-28 (2020-11-28, 18:22)Skeeve Wrote: I understood that the youtube plugin iis no longer working in regards to accessing personal settings. However, I cannot change anything there. It's telling me something about a proxy and to look for HTTP Server. Quote: RE: YouTube - PureHemp - 2020-11-28 Hi everybody I create a fix for empty "my subscriptions". It's using Youtube RSS feed to get latest videos from your subscriptions. I tested with 50 subscribers and it needs about 45 seconds to get results, it's not the fastest thing but it works I also implemented cache so new videos are only get pulled once every hour. Here is the link: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1AB_bgcs4E0a87dOYAjvYzwdCMS9Z2MfL/view?usp=sharing You can install from zip inside Kodis Add-on section, or you can just simply overwrite files inside your kodi user files on your filesystem. Enjoy RE: YouTube - graham23s - 2020-11-28 Thank you PureHemp do we need to put any api details in before installing or just go ahead and install? It's the same as official add-on. I only modified script for retrieving "my subscriptions" videos. Besides taking about 5 seconds to open "My Subscriptions", it works perfectly. I look forward to using this everyday. RE: YouTube - NeoCortex - 2020-11-29 Just wanted to say thanks for the fix. RE: YouTube - jomjom79 - 2020-11-29 My god.. I just registered to say thank you to Purehemp for this fix.. Its been driving me nuts the last few days and i was afraid i was destined to use Chromium on the Pi for Youtube from now on... Granted it probably takes about 2 minutes to refresh my 200+ subscriptions but i can live with that! Thank you again! Jomjom79 |
