RE: CouchPotato - Automatic Movie Downloader via NZB & Torrents - phreaq - 2014-01-27 Does anyone need to restart CP every week or so? I find that when I do restart CP, it finds several different movies that are available, and it does it's thing. When I look at those releases, they've been available for 4 - 5 days. Why weren't they picked up earlier? CP doesn't crash, as I can access the web interface, use the Chrome Add In on remote computers, and new additions are searched for and handled correctly if found. I've cleared out my log, and will see how things go, but I'll have quite the log to sort thru at the end of it all. RE: CouchPotato - Automatic Movie Downloader via NZB & Torrents - JesusOnEez - 2014-01-28 I have found the renamer function of CP stops working every few days or so. I'm not sure what the cause is, but it's not just you. I reboot my machine every few days so I haven't really looked into it. I have a feeling it stops working when it can't match something up to the IMDB listing. It places an ignore file against that movie, and should carry on. I think it's possible that it stops working at that point. Purely guessing here though. RE: CouchPotato - Automatic Movie Downloader via NZB & Torrents - Rcarnes - 2014-02-02 I am running into some problems with CP and Utorrent, I have utorrent setup to download via rss which works perfect, but CP is giving me some trouble on post processing my files. It will copy the files before they are done downloading them and put them to my movie folder which gives me movies that have a couple minutes of video and then the rest is sound, It must be something in my settings but CP snatches and starts torrents perfectly it is just the post processing Does any one got an idea on what setting i have wrong? RE: CouchPotato - Automatic Movie Downloader via NZB & Torrents - lb4406 - 2014-02-02 I find it very unstable - I have the same problem where the renamer stops works, also it just seems to stop of its own accord, occasionally you;ll open it and it'll be completely empty as if its a fresh install but end task and load it again and it works ok - basically its junk but other than manually searching all the time unfortunately there is no alternative RE: CouchPotato - Automatic Movie Downloader via NZB & Torrents - JesusOnEez - 2014-02-03 (2014-02-02, 18:47)Rcarnes Wrote: I am running into some problems with CP and Utorrent, I have utorrent setup to download via rss which works perfect, but CP is giving me some trouble on post processing my files. I'm not entirely sure how it all works with torrents as I use NZB files, but if it's similar, it may be that you've pointed CP to the folder where uTorrent is currently downloading items. How it should be working, is that once complete, the finished download should then be moved to a different folder that CP is watching. That way it'll only process completed downloads. Hope that makes sense. Thanks I was under the impression CP talked to Utorrent and did not need to separate files for finished and unfinished RE: CouchPotato - Automatic Movie Downloader via NZB & Torrents - jjmucker - 2014-02-04 Has anyone managed to get the categories working through this add on? RE: CouchPotato - Automatic Movie Downloader via NZB & Torrents - Abshole - 2014-03-06 Not only have I had movies reappear that I didn't want to see, but now (and the last few days) I have no movies that're being suggested. And I still have to manually pick a torrent. RE: CouchPotato - Automatic Movie Downloader via NZB & Torrents - AnalogAnomaly - 2014-03-09 Just deleted 8,000+ .ignore files from my htpc/nas. apparently somehow there were multiple copies of CouchPotato running simultaneously AND they were just spamming .ignore files into torrent folders. Strongly suggest whomever is responsible for writing this put checks in place for both occurrences =/. RE: CouchPotato - Automatic Movie Downloader via NZB & Torrents - Harry deluxe - 2014-03-24 I have a problem with couchpotato. I configured my SABnzbd and it says that the test is correct but now I have several movies under "Snatched & available" but they are not forwarded to SABnzbd. Code: 03-24 22:19:24 INFO [core.media.movie.searcher] Search for 12 Years a Slave in 720p Did I do anything wrong? RE: CouchPotato - Automatic Movie Downloader via NZB & Torrents - greg_p - 2014-05-08 I'm very new to couch potato, but I have this all set up properly, with SABnzbd, and I am getting many movies downloaded properly, placed in the right folders (I was thinking) but they won't play. I use XBMC to play things usually, but it doesn't know what to do with these files. The cover art comes through fine, the files themselves are there in the folder, with a large (3-4G for 1080p quality) amount of data and they are listed as a *.WMV file. I have tried playing them directly from the folder using VLC, but even that doesn't play them. What am I doing wrong? I'm assuming the large amount of data means it has been downloaded properly, but not sure why the media won't play. RE: CouchPotato - Automatic Movie Downloader via NZB & Torrents - HenryFord - 2014-05-08 Those are fake files which recently popped all over the Usenet. Try to avoid indexers like binsearch or nzbclub RE: CouchPotato - Automatic Movie Downloader via NZB & Torrents - greg_p - 2014-05-08 Oh. ok. Can you suggest the proper indexers to use? RE: CouchPotato - Automatic Movie Downloader via NZB & Torrents - HenryFord - 2014-05-08 Sorry, I only use nzbs.org, but registration has been closed for a while now... can't really help you there :/ |
