RE: frodo and MYSQL - ciantm - 2012-11-19

Hi Koying,

Yes, MyVideos72 seems to get corrupted each time by XBMC.

Done a clean version, i.e. dropped the DB and removed directories from Mysql. and then started Frodo again. Frodo finds the Music DB from Eden and attempts to convert it, and when it finds the MyVideos60 it fails/error. The failure creates a DB that contains the files that were in the 60 DB but not as movies. This is the same thing that happens when I try to scrape in XBMC. The files seem to scrape, but are not recognised as Movies etc, (Here is the log http://pastebin.com/avi7Fa4n )

Once again note that the early version of the DB still works perfectly and continues to update correctly from Eden (which I still have installed on another station).

Thanks again!

Cian

In addition here is a log of the next restart of XBMC Frodo after the above log. This one is a crash http://pastebin.com/ngMbYVpt

Try the next nightly - there were changes to the trigger statement which may have an influence. You'll need to remove your v72 database using mysql.

Last night's or tonights?!

Thanks

RE: frodo and MYSQL - Koying - 2012-11-19

@ciantm Just to be sure, could you

1) Remove MyVideos72
2) Provide the xbmc.log of the first run after deleting the db.

Subsequent runs find an invalid MyVideos72, which is what your logs show, but we cannot tell the root cause of the failed upgrade.

RE: frodo and MYSQL - ciantm - 2012-11-19

That is exactly what I did as described in post #16.the subsequent log being http://pastebin.com/avi7Fa4n .

Then after another restart this was the log. http://pastebin.com/ngMbYVpt

Note that when I tried to scrape Movies one by one the database entries that were created, were not correct - and did not appear as movies, just as files, the same incorrect format that happens when the db upgrade 68->72 is attempted.

Thanks.

RE: frodo and MYSQL - Koying - 2012-11-19

Yeah sorry. Was not looking at the right log.
Indeed, the fix was merged in git yesterday ( https://github.com/xbmc/xbmc/commit/cd8306e0ce3fc945c7b0c5ef88dd749f56c00977 )

Great! ... 404 error on that link though. Will the fix be in the nightly build tonight? I already tried last night's.

Thanks,

RE: frodo and MYSQL - ciantm - 2012-11-20

Aha... I am looking for Win32 ones ... (he says knowing that this is OSX section of the forum, but it was where he landed when he searched +Frodo +Mysq being the only thread discussing the issuel!!)

Would this mean that the above issue has only been addressed in OSX and not in Win32?

Thanks

RE: frodo and MYSQL - ciantm - 2012-11-20

Do I need to re-post - start again in Windows Support on the same topic?

Thanks

RE: frodo and MYSQL - Koying - 2012-11-20

No. Looks like the Win32 nighty had a hiccup. Please wait for the next one.
