Both videos play fine in Dailymotion 2.4.0. From your log it looks like you may be geo-restricted. Can you confirm you can play these videos in a webbrowser

Firstly thanks for all your help and this great addon, you do an amazing job. I can access dailymotion and all of the videos from my browser with no problem, the kodi log gives a 403 error for the proxy address when trying to play video though.
If you could point in the right direction i´d really appreciate it, full log below.

There are quite a few videos on Dailymotion which are region restricted, the same as youtube. The addon cannot bypass that. Any discussions relating to bypassing restrictions are not allowed on Kodi forums
It plays fine in the addon if the region is allowed

This add-on can't play the video https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x7ov0w4. I think the problem comes from the fact that the video is in 60 frames per second and therefore its quality is 1080@60.

It certainly seems that way as you are being provided playback url from CDN server in Italy it looks like and getting a HTTP403 error

Do these videos play for you on a web browser? It would be interesting if it did

Yes it is a bug introduced recently as part of the quick fix done by johngf and I didn't do regression testing, Thanks for pointing it out, will be fixed in the next release

playback will not work in the addon for any video, but all videos work perfectly in web browser, so pretty sure it is not geo-blocked. am i the only one having this problem?
